Academic Programs
Forysth Tech offers the following credit programs: | ||
Associate in Arts (AA) A two-year college transfer program that concentrates on humanities and social sciences for those planning to continue to a bachelor's degree program in a four-year institution. | Concentration (C) A concentration of study includes a minimum of 12 semester credit hours from subjects and/or courses that are, in general, unique to the concentration. The required concentration subjects and/or courses are taken in addition to the required core subjects and/or courses.

Associate in Science (AS) A two-year college tranfer program that concentrates on mathematics, biological or physical science for those planning to continue to a bachelor's degree program in a four-year institution.
| Diploma (D) A program of study that usually requires three semesters to complete. Courses typically are not designed to transfer to a four-year institution. | |
Associate in Applied Science (AAS) A two-year technical degree that prepares students for the job market. | Certificate (CE) A program of study generally requiring one or two semesters of course work.
