Choosing a healthcare career is one of the most important decisions.
The Health Technologies Division of Forsyth Technical Community College is the home to over 14 associate degree, diploma and certificate programs in the areas of nursing and allied programs. As identified in our mission, the faculty and staff are committed to providing quality programs based on the latest technology, research and information. Close partnerships with two major medical centers, located within a few miles of our campus, provide clinical experience to enhance the students' classroom learning.
According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, 16% of all new wage and salary jobs created between 2002 and 2012 will be in health services. Healthcare agencies are the #1 employer in our county and the projection for growth is significant. In order to meet this demand, our college welcomes applications from perspective students who desire to pursue a healthcare career. At Forsyth Technical Community College a student can expect support for success from qualified counselors and faculty before, during and at the completion of their health technology program.
I invite you to explore our program offerings and contact us for further guidance and information.
Welcome to the world of healthcare where the art of caring meets science and technology.
