This course provides an introduction to the analysis of sound equipment technology and its operation and uses on stage. Emphasis is placed on assessing sound needs and on installing, running, and maintaining equipment. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate skills as a sound environment designer and technician. This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA as a premajor and/or elective course requirement.
