HVAC Service Technician
Course description
This program will provide training in A/C, refrigeration and heating to prepare the student for entry level employment or higher employment as an HVAC repair/service technician.This curriculum is Level I of a two level program. Each level meets for 12 weeks, 2 days per week, offered either day or evenings. Total 72 hours per level

- System troubleshooting
- Tools and instruments
- Preventive maintenance
- Brazing and soldering
- Oil and gas burner repair
- Refrigerant reclaim and recycle
- Electronic controls
- HVAC electricity
Requirements
High School Diploma/GED not required for this class.Job requirements may differ.
