The Career Readiness Certificate (CRC)
can help you find the right job or help your employer find the right job for you.
The CRC is a test-based credential that tells employers that you have workplace-ready skills in three key areas – math, reading for information and locating information. The CRC is a nationally recognized, EEOC-compliant industry-driven system of job profiling and assessment based on the WorkKeys™ testing program. There are no classes to attend, no books to buy and no homework to do. You simply take three tests and, based on your scores, receive a bronze, silver or gold level certificate that indicates your skill level. You can then present your Career Readiness Certificate to a potential or current employer as a proven measurement of your job skills.
CRC testing is conducted at Forsyth Tech’s West Campus (1300 Bolton Street, Winston-Salem). The cost of the CRC testing is $30. For more information, call 336.734.7772.
WorkKeys™ assessments are also available in other areas. To learn more, visit our Skills Assessment page.
