Human Resource Development

Human Resource Development (HRD) is a dynamic and vital workfoce development program that promotes community and economic development by providing educational programs to help those who are unemployed, underemployed, or seeking career advancement obtain employment in line with their skills and talents, succeed in their work, and advance their careers.

The goals of the HRD program are to:

  1. Enhance and develop students’ job searching skills
  2. Enhance and develop the students’ employability skills
  3. Develop and promote the individual’s career success and economic sef-sufficiency

There is no charge for HRD courses if you are unemployed, have been given notice of a layoff, or meet income criteria  .

You can register for HRD courses at Forsyth Tech’s West Campus (1300 Bolton Street, Winston Salem).
