Phlebotomy Information Session

(Limited seats in Phlebotomy classes)

Candidates MUST provide the following documentation at the Information Session (bring the originals and copies):

  • HS Diploma/HS Transcript/GED (one of these)
  • Social Security Card
  • Driver’s License or other government issued photo identification
  • Placement Test Scores

Candidates must also bring ONE of the following:

  • Current Nursing Assistant I registry listing  OR
  • Certificate of completion from NC approved Nursing Assistant I program (completed in the past 2 years)    OR
  • Direct patient care experience (i.e. Nurse, CMA, EMT, Med Office Assistant) with a letter of recommendation on letterhead from clinical professional who supervised this care

Candidates must provide proof of having initiated the Criminal Background Check/Drug Screening before they can register for class. For more information, please visit our FAQ.

NOTE:

  • If you have taken a Health Education class (CNAI, CNAII) you may come by the Health Education Office (Room 32 West Campus) to see if we have your documentation.  Do not come the day of the Information Session requesting these documents—you must come before the Information Session. 
  • You must provide all documentation at the time of the Information Session.  If you do not have all the required documents, you will not be able to attend the Information Session.
  • Please do not call for class prior to the Information Session.  Any scheduling information we have will be provided at the Information Session.
