Learning Objectives
Students will learn the standard touch typing method with emphasis on correct technique using all ten fingers and without looking at the keyboard. Students will receive practice and feedback to build speed and accuracy.

Data Entry Specialists must be able to type accurately and quickly. They may need to be able to read source documents (checks, sales information, bills, etc), and compile, sort, and verify accuracy of data before entering. Data Entry specialists may scan material into the computer and store completed documents in appropriate locations. They need to be able to read data in table or chart form.
