Notary Public Training

Certain legal documents, such as property deeds, wills and business agreements, require the impartial signature of a Notary Public. A Notary Public screens signers of important legal documents, confirming identities, document authenticity and more.

This 6 hour course prepares students to become a commissioned/appointed Notary Public.

If you are at least 18 years old, have never been convicted of a felony, have a High School diploma or GED and can satisfactorily complete this workshop, you can apply for your Notary Public Commission. This class will teach you what you need to know before applying for your Notary Public Commission. The Notary Public Guidebook10th edition and Student Workbook are required and are available in the Forsyth Tech bookstore.

North Carolina eNotary Manual MUST be purchased before attending course,
before commissioning, and retained for reference purposes.
