Ed2go Online Course Information
- For courses and requirements, visit www.ed2go.com/forsyth students' Online Instruction Center (OIC). Be sure to note any pre-requisites or software requirements. Find course by clicking in Search for Course located on the right hand side and entering the course title.
- Register either with the Online Registration Form, by Phone (336) 761-1002 or Walk-in. NOTE: Please do not use the Enroll Now button on the www.ed2go.com/forsyth page, this is for Orientation purposes only.
- Important: Please complete your Orientation and in Classroom submit your first quiz on the start of the course in order to counted in attendance in your course.
- Email our online "Helpdesk" at onlinecce@forsythtech.edu with any questions.
- All Ed2go courses are non credit.
- Online, instructor-led courses start the 3rd Wednesday of every month. Registration is accepted up to NOON on the day the course begins.
- Each course runs for 6 weeks and consists of 12 lessons. Each lesson/chapter is printable. Each lesson is followed by a quiz (be sure to click Submit at the bottom of the quiz page). All quizzes, with the exception of the Final Exam, can be repeated as often as you like for up to 10 days.
- New lessons come out at 3 pm each Wednesday and Friday.
- Students are given 10 days to complete each lesson.
- The lessons are supplemented by assignments, tutorials and online discussion areas.
- All you need to get started is Internet access, an email address and a Web browser.
- It helps to stay on a routine class schedule to finish a course; printing and studying the information on Wednesdays and Fridays as it is made available to you, as well as completing and submitting the quizzes as close to these days as is possible.
- If you register and pay online, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with your receipt number and a reminder to do the online orientation.
- On the start date of the course, an Online Orientation is required in order to have access to your Classroom area and course materials. Instructions for this process will be emailed to you after registration is confirmed.
- Course completion certificates are by request only. If you would like to request a certificate or if you have questions, please e-mail our Helpdesk at onlinecce@forsythtech.edu. We will need your name, your student ID# or Social Security #, course title and course start date.
- Recertifying teachers taking online courses for 2.4 renewal credits must complete all 12 lessons and quizzes and score 80% or higher on the final exam by the ending date of the course.
- Recertifying teachers must request a certificate by e-mail at onlinecce@forsythtech.edu to have their final score verified.
- Students may apply for a full refund prior to the first day of the course. As of the first day of the course, the student may apply for a 75% refund if they have not completed the first assignment. No otehr refunds wil be given.
