Adult Basic Education (ABE) Program

Requirements

  • Students must be at least 16 years old to enroll in any class
  • Students must attend orientation (see below)

 

Orientation Days, Times & Location

West Campus Room 20

  • Two days of orientation required
  • Monday/Tuesday:
    • 9 a.m.-12 p.m. (3 hours each day) or
    • 6 p.m.-9 p.m. (3 hours each day)
  • Campus closes for Winter Holidays December 22-Jan 1
  • Orientation resumes Wednesday, January 3, 2018

Beginning November 1, 2017, there will be no HSE/Adult High School Orientation on Wednesdays and Thursdays. These days will be reserved for ESL Orientation.

 

Orientation Requirements

  • Attend both days in sequence order to enter the program
  • Attend same time session each day
  • Late arrivals will not be admitted

 

Documents that must be brought to orientation:

  • Social Security or Tax ID card (signed) (copies not accepted)
  • Government or state issued photo ID (no school or work ID’s accepted)

 

Minors (Ages 16 & 17) must bring:

  • Social Security or Tax ID card (signed) (copies not accepted)
  • Government or state issued photo ID (no school or work ID’s accepted)
  • Minor Release Form – AHS/HSE PDF icon (Requires notarized signature of parent or guardian. This minor release form is for Adult High School/HSE students ONLY.)
