Upcoming Registration Dates

Fall 2009 / Spring 2010

  • Wed., October 21: Registration for 2nd 8-week classes for Fall 2009 (note: web registration is not available for this registration—all students should go through the appropriate division office and/or their advisors for assistance) Payment due by 7:00pm for 2nd 8-week courses
  • November 2-10: Web Registration opens for currently enrolled students for Spring 2010 registration (remains open until December 11 payment deadline)
  • November 16-17: Walk-In Registration for new students for Spring 2010, 8:00am-7:00pm
  • Fri., December 11: Payment deadline for Spring 2010 registration – payment due by NOON. Deregistration process for nonpayment begins at noon.
  • January 5-6: Late Registration for Spring 2010, 8:00am-7:00pm ; payment due by 7:00pm Wednesday.
  • Wed., January 6: Last day to drop Spring 2010 course(s) with 100% refund—7:00pm Deregistration for nonpayment at 7:00pm.
  • Thurs., January 7: First day of Spring 2010 term classes; also Drop/Add for spring, 8:00am-7:00pm Payment due by 7:00pm same day for schedule updates. Deregistration for nonpayment at 7:00pm January 7
  • Fri., January 8: Drop/Add for Spring 2010, 8:00am until noon; payment due by noon. Deregistration for nonpayment at noon January 8.
  • Tues., January 12: Last day for 75% refund for first eight-week classes (drop before 7:00pm)
  • Tues., January 19: Last day for 75% refund for full semester classes (drop before 7:00pm)

Summary of payment deadlines:

Fri., December 11 at NOON

  • For all registrations up through that date

Wed., January 6 at 7:00pm

  • For registrations after December 11 and up through Late Registration January 5-6

Thurs., January 7 at 7:00pm

  • For registration activity that day (first day of the term/first day of Drop/Add)

Fri., January 8 at NOON

  • For registration activity that day (second day of Drop/Add)

Refund policy (specific deadlines noted above):

  • 100% refund for courses dropped officially before the term begins
  • 75% refund for courses dropped officially before the 10% point for that course during the term
  • No refund for courses dropped after the 10% point of the term

Students can drop courses themselves through WebAdvisor until the term begins. After the term has begun, students must complete a drop form and submit it in person (to the Records Office, to their advisor, or to the Information Desk at any of the off-campus centers except West Campus) in order to officially drop a class.
