Justin Stafford is a big fan of dual enrollment. While attending Mount Tabor and Calvary Baptist Day School, he took nine dual enrollment courses. He is now attending Guilford College and the 27 credits he transferred will allow him to pursue a double major in Sports Management and Sports Medicine and still graduate in four years. Here is what Justin has to say about the advantages of dual enrollment:
“I took AP classes, too, but at the end of the day, you’re having to take this AP exam that will determine if you get college credit versus doing well in class for the whole semester at Forsyth Tech to determine if you get credit.”
“It’s twenty-five bucks a semester for an activity fee and a technology fee, and you can take as many classes as you want. I think it’s beyond worth it.”
“It just blows my mind how many people don’t take advantage of this. I wish I had known about it my junior year at Mount Tabor. I probably could have had two years out of the way before I even went to college.”
