Meet real students who got a head start on college at Forsyth Tech.

“The dual enrollment program allowed me to explore a subject area my high school didn’t offer.”

Kimberly Duggins

Kimberly DugginsKimberly Duggins graduated from Mt. Tabor and went on to attend Elon University. At Mt. Tabor, Kimberly took advantage of the online Dual Enrollment courses offered by Forsyth Tech to explore her career options while earning college credit. Here is what Kimberly has to say about her Forsyth Tech experience:

“I couldn’t find any classes at my high school that interested me, so I took Forsyth Tech classes that did interest me — Introduction to Criminal Justice and Criminology.”

“I took online courses.  I'm an athlete, so I liked the Forsyth Tech option of taking online courses — I could do the work in my own time rather than having to sit in a class every day.”

“The dual enrollment program allowed me to explore a subject area my high school didn’t offer.  I was able to ‘try out’ some of my interests, and get college credit for my efforts at the same time — and it was free!”

“I had a positive experience with the Dual Enrollment program.  Overall, I think it was a great move for me!”
