Rhanita O'Neal
Rhanita O’Neal graduated from Glenn in 2007 and is now a student at
UNC-Charlotte. While at Glenn, Rhanita took Dual Enrollment courses on
the campus of Forsyth Tech, and she feels that experience better
prepared her for college. Here is what Rhanita has to say:
“My
Forsyth Tech classes included college algebra and a business course. I
thought the courses were great and I'm glad I took them because it
prepared me for what college would be like.”
“I became more
responsible. It persuaded me to take challenges and pick classes on a
college level. I was also able to interact with people that were older
than me and more experienced so I gained a lot of knowledge as to how
the next four years of my life were going to be.”
“If students
want to experience college life with real college classes, I would
recommend this program.”
