“If you don’t care about all the drama of your average high school, then Middle College is definitely the school for you.”

Kelsey Shore

Kelsey transferred to Forsyth Middle College from another WS/FC school as a junior. She graduated as valedictorian of Middle College and continued at Forsyth Tech to get her AA degree. Here is what Kelsey has to say about Forsyth Middle College:

“At Middle College, you have the freedom to get your work done and the ability to work as fast or as slowly as you need to work. If you work fast and you get your classes done early, you can graduate early. That’s pretty neat. I had actually gotten behind at my old high school, so I was able to finish a year and half worth of work in one year and take college classes, ‘cause I worked hard and I was very focused.”

“I took Dual Enrollment college classes my senior year at Middle College and I had almost a whole semester’s worth of credits when I graduated. So I decided to stay at Forsyth Tech and take some more classes while I decided what I wanted to do and where I wanted to go to school.”

“If you’re self-motivated, if you are responsible enough to handle the freedom, if you don’t care about all the drama of your average high school, then Middle College is definitely the school for you.”
