Course of Study
This program provides students with no prior training in imaging to enter into the field of Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Upon completion of this program students will be eligible to sit for the American Registry of Radiological Technologists' (ARRT) exam in MRI. This program provides a great amount of clinical experience and competencies. The MRI technologist will be expected to perform at very high standards and must maintain a high level of responsibility and integrity.
Recommended Courses and Skills
Competencies in algebra and biology are required. CPR and CNAI certification is required by the first day of class. Strength in critical thinking is helpful.
