When does registration start, and when can I register for my classes?
Information about registration can be found:
- On the Forsyth Tech registration webpage
- On Techlink’s home page right above WebAdvisor or
- On the Techlink Campus Calendar (under Student Life > Campus Calendar)
In addition, continuing students receive emails from the Registrar with registration information via their college email address. Students can also check with their advisor or the Deans’ offices for this information.
Where can I register for next semester?
During designated registration periods, students can register in various computer labs on campus and at our off campus centers, and can also register online through Techlink using myForsythTech.
How do I drop/add a class during registration?
Prior to the beginning of classes students may adjust their schedules using myForsythTech. During the late walk-in registration and drop/add periods, students must come in-person to designated areas on campus to adjust their schedule. After the drop/add period has ended students may drop courses online through the Online Course Drop Form on Techlink.
Can you send me a class schedule?
Our schedules are only available electronically. We no longer print copies. Access your schedule via Techlink by clicking on myForsythTech, Student Planning, Plan & Schedule.
When is the last day that I can drop a class, and receive a “W?”
Dates are listed on the “Important Dates” information sheets available in the Deans’ offices. Dates are also posted in the Student Calendar/Planners. The Techlink Campus Calendar is under Student Life.
Where do I go to withdraw from a course (drop a class) or from school?
Information regarding student withdrawals can be found in the college catalog.

Please see your Academic Dean, or contact the Records Office located on Main Campus in the Oak Grove Center (336.734.7472).
