Financial Aid Application Process and Processing Dates

The purpose of financial aid is to provide assistance in the form of grants, scholarships, and employment that will help you and your family with educational expenses such as tuition, fees, books, and supplies.  The college will make every effort within available financial aid resources to assure that you will not be denied the opportunity to attend college because of a lack of funds to help meet educational expenses.

You may apply for federal, state, and institutional financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  You may choose one of the following methods to apply:

Online – You may apply online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Forsyth Tech's School Code is 005317 and must be listed on the FAFSA.

If you do not have internet access, you may obtain a paper FAFSA by calling the Federal Student Aid Information Center at 1.800.4.FED-AID.
