Records Office

The Records Office is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and security of academic records for the College. The Records Office is located at 106 Allman Building on Main Campus and serves students at the Main Campus and the off-site centers. Mail or fax service requests, as described below to:

Forsyth Tech Transcript Requests

With a signed transcript request, you may have Forsyth Tech transcripts sent to any institutions or individuals you choose, or order copies for your own use. Transcripts can be requested in person in the Records Office or written requests can be mailed or scanned and emailed to RecordsOfficeatForsythTech@forsythtech.edu. Transcripts are $3.00 each to be paid prior to issue.

GED® Confirmation/Score Requests

If you completed a GED® program at Forsyth Tech, the North Carolina state GED® office issues your official score report/confirmation of completion and not Forsyth Tech.  For information about GED® programs and how to request transcripts of scores, please visit the North Carolina State GED® Office’s website.

Enrollment Verification Requests

You may request enrollment verifications for insurance or other purposes from the National Student Clearinghouse. This service is available 24 hours for your convenience and it is free. Please use the aforementioned link to verify student enrollment status or to view student loan deferment verifications and other services.

Name/Address Requests

These changes can be processed in person at the Records Office or requested in writing via mail or fax. Name change requests must be documented by a marriage license, birth certificate or court decree. Your signed request, including name change documentation, if applicable, can be mailed or faxed.
