One of the main objectives of Career Services is to assist employers in the hiring of trained employees. This page has been designed to answer questions that employers seeking to hire Forsyth Tech students and alumni may have about the department's services, policies and procedures.
Policy for Employer Services
Career Services is an equal opportunity service provider for employers seeking employees. With two exceptions, all employers, regardless of their location, size, type of service or business, receive the employer services described on this web page. The two exceptions are:
- employment agencies or recruiters that charge students/alumni fees for their services.
- employers asking students/alumni to participate in dishonest, unethical or illegal activities.
Career Services offers an online job search and employer posting area. Employers must register and set up a profile to use this service. Once set up, you will be able to manage the job posting from your company at the click of a button.

Employers may contact the Director of Career Services at 336.734.7206 to schedule recruiting visits. On-campus recruitment may be arranged during each semester of the academic year. Our staff arranges for tables to be set up in high student traffic locations to maximize the opportunity for student contact. On-campus recruitment information is posted in Career Services. Faculty and staff are notified when recruitment is for students in their department.
Job Fairs and Career Days
An annual campus-wide job fair sponsored by Career Services offers an excellent setting for students and employers to discuss employment opportunities.
Career Services arranges Career Days for students to provide them the opportunity to exchange information with individuals who are employed in their future fields of study.
