This course is the second in a series of medical terminology courses. Topics include medical vocabulary and the terms that relate to the anatomy, physiology, pathological conditions, and treatment of selected systems. Upon completion, students should be able to pronounce, spell, and define medical terms as related to selected body systems and their pathological disorders. ADVISOR ALERT! Students must take the following course sets in sequence. The course sets CAN NOT be mixed! MED-121 and MED-122 must be taken as a set. OST-141 and OST-142 must be taken as a set. Example, students can NOT take MED-121 and OST 142, or OST-141 and MED-122. Please see your advisor for additional details. |
