Students Learn About Advanced Manufacturing

On April 6, a group of students from North Stokes High School, South Stokes High School, and West Stokes High School had the opportunity to tour the Advanced Manufacturing facility at Forsyth Tech Community College to promote Advanced Manufacturing S.T.E.M. week. These students were greeted by Eddie Waddell who is over recruiting for the college and Todd Bishop: Program Coordinator for Mechanical Engineering, Technology, Drafting, and Design. The students toured the interior design, drafting, architectural design, graphic design, machining, and electronics facilities.

Forsyth Tech Hosts Film And Discussion On Syrian Refugee Crisis

Forsyth Tech is hosting the viewing of the award-winning, feature-length film, “Salam Neighbor,” about the Syrian refugee crisis on Thursday, April 28, from 11 am – 1 pm at the Oak Grove Center Auditorium on the college’s Main Campus, 2100 Silas Creek Parkway in Winston-Salem. The program is free and open to the public and is part of the college’s ongoing Humanities Enrichment Series.
