We believe that it is important that every prospective or current business owner create and engage with their business community. This community should consist of partners, vendors, and other organizations that can provide resources and support in order to increase the likelihood of success.

I found the Forsyth Tech Small Business Center (SBC) a few months ago by chance. When I first came to the SBC to take a class, I did not know anyone. Everyone was nice and helpful. As I started to spend time at the SBC, I found it to be a community of people and business. I have learned that the more involved I am with the activities in and around the SBC, the more involved I am in the SBC community and the Winston Salem community. I have learned the benefits of having my business be a part of the community vs. having a business located in the community.
