Pharmacy Assistant
This class introduces students to the work of entry-level employees in a retail pharmacy and prepares students to enter an on-the-job training course for pharmacy technicians. Instruction covers drug regulation and control, pharmaceutical terminology, medications and their uses and applied math.
Prerequisite: High School Diploma or GED.
