Adult Basic Education (ABE) Program

Requirements

  • Students must be at least 16 years old to enroll in any class
  • Students must attend orientation (see below)

 

Orientation Days, Times & Location

West Campus Room 20

  • Three days of orientation required.
  • Monday through Wednesday (3 days) twice per month. Please choose the time that suits you best: 9:00 am-12:00 pm or 6:00 pm-9:00 pm
  • Orientation Dates:
    • January 7-10; 14-16; 21-23
    • February 11-13; 25-27
    • March 11-13; 25-27
    • April 8-10; 22-24
    • May 6-8: 20-22
    • June 3-5; 17-20
    • July 8-10; 22-24
    • August 5-7; 19-21
    • September 9-11; 23-25
    • October 7-10; 21-23
    • November 4-6; 18-20
    • December 2-4

Campus closes for Winter Holidays December 21-Jan. 1, 2019

Orientation resumes Monday, January 7, 2019

Orientation Requirements

Attend all days in sequence order to enter the program;

Attend same time session each day

Late arrivals will not be admitted

 

Documents that must be brought to orientation:

Social Security or Tax ID card (signed) (copies not accepted)

Government or state issued photo ID (no school or work ID’s accepted)

 

Minors (Ages 16 & 17) must bring:

Social Security or Tax ID card (signed) (copies not accepted)

Government or state issued photo ID (no school or work ID’s accepted)

Minor Release Form – AHS/HSE PDF icon (Requires notarized signature of parent or guardian. This minor release form is for Adult High School/HSE students ONLY.)
