HR Certification Program

Dear HR Certificate Program Student & Prospective Students:

We thank you for your interest and effort to complete the Human Resources Management Certificate at Forsyth Tech Community College. Due to the dynamic and fast-changing environment of today’s HR profession, our program is going to be undergoing a complete revision to better meet the needs of the business community and provide a more streamlined curriculum for our students. The end result will be a more streamlined curriculum, focusing on HR competencies and knowledge essential to beginning or new professionals in the field.

We honor and support your work towards the current certificate program to date, and we want to give you an opportunity to complete the program under the current requirements by September 30, 2017. We will be scheduling the final offerings of these sun setting classes for the Spring and Summer of 2017 based on the requests of our students and what is feasible given the demand and instructor availability.

Beginning October 1st, 2017 and after, the new HR Certificate program will be launched and different course requirements and content will be required. Students who begin 10/1/2017 or after will have to complete the program under the new requirements.

The new program is under development, and we will announce it by the end of this calendar year on our HR Certificate Program website. Please let me know if you have questions and thank you for your support!
