Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information

The health and safety of our students, faculty and staff is our primary concern. During this unprecedented time in our history, Forsyth Tech is proactively engaging with local, state and federal officials to stay on top of the rapidly evolving international health situation resulting from the outbreak of respiratory disease caused by a new coronavirus (COVID-19).

Everyone has been instructed to stay at home until April 29, 2020 based on the order from the Governor of North Carolina. Most employees will be telecommuting and only designated employees will be allowed on campus.
*Classes resumed on Monday, March 30 for students through remote or distance learning with the exception of Basic Law Enforcement Training, Emergency Management Services training and Certified Nursing Assistant classes. Due to the nature of these classes, which would provide critical services if needed during COVID-19, we were asked by the state to continue holding these classes. Faculty, staff and students are practicing as many safety precautions as possible.
