Thank you for choosing Forsyth Tech as the first step toward earning your baccalaureate degree.  The mission of the College Transfer Program is to provide current and continuing information and assistance to students and advisors, supporting the seamless transition to four-year colleges and universities. We welcome your questions!  Stop by to see us in the Student Success Center, 1st floor Allman Center. We encourage you to come early in your college career so we can help you design the most effective plan for transfer.

This workshop will discuss the differences between the Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, and the Associates in Fine Arts associate degree programs. You will also have the opportunity to sign up to visit colleges with other students from Forsyth Tech!

Pro: Your 4-year institution has the major you want, is in a good location, and may even have a great sports team! Con: You are confused and a little intimidated by the 4-year admissions process. This workshop will provide students with tips to combat the most common admissions challenges.

Your dream school is in a good location and has a winning sports team, but what will campus life actually be like for you? Should you live on or off campus? How will you adjust to the academic work load? This workshop will discuss these common transfer challenges and provide participants with the opportunity to hear about experiences from a transfer student panel.
