Forsyth Tech Throws a Fall Fest Party : 106 & Park Top 10 Celebration 

Join us October 1 for a free community celebration hosted by Terrence J, with live entertainment, food trucks, games and Forsyth Tech pride.

If you’ve been expecting to see the usual Fall Fest on the schedule this year, you’ll find something bigger in its place. Forsyth Tech is marking a major milestone in 2026: being named one of the Top 10 Community Colleges in America. And we’re celebrating in style.

The 106 & Park Top 10 Celebration

Mark your calendars for Thursday, October 1, 2026, from noon–6 p.m. Forsyth Tech’s Main Campus will transform into a full-blown celebration hosted by none other than Terrence J, honoring the college’s national recognition.

This isn’t your average campus event. It’s a six-hour community-wide party, free and open to everyone—students, faculty, staff, alumni and neighbors alike.

What’s Happening

The celebration is packed with things to see, hear, eat and take home:

• Live entertainment: Performances from Yobosco, Hustle Souls March and Alex Figueroa will keep the energy high throughout the afternoon.
• Food trucks: Because no campus celebration is complete without good food on hand.
• Games: Activities for attendees of all ages to enjoy across campus.
• Free college swag: Grab some Forsyth Tech gear to show your pride in the college’s achievement.

The festivities will take place across Forsyth Tech’s Main Campus. Bring your friends, family and Trailblazer spirit to celebrate with us.

Being named a Top 10 Community College in America is no small feat. This event is Forsyth Tech’s way of sharing that achievement with the people who helped make it possible—students, staff and the greater Winston-Salem community.
