C.L.E.P. stands for College Level Examination Program. The CLEP offers prospective students the opportunity to earn college credit for skills they have mastered. This credit is transferrable to nearly 3,000 colleges and universities.

The cost of CLEP exams is $98 and is payable to the College Board. Forsyth Tech charges a $10 proctoring fee per exam, which is waived for current applicants or enrolled Forsyth Tech students.

Decide which exams to take.
Register and pay for the exams on the CLEP website , and indicate the colleges and universities that should receive your scores.
www.clep.orgReceive your exam voucher in an email. You can then schedule an appointment with Forsyth Tech or any other CLEP-authorized testing center.
Log on to the Forsyth Tech CLEP scheduling website to schedule your appointment.
academictestingcenter.fullslate.comContact the cashier’s office at (336)734-7210 to pay your proctor fee ($10) by phone or pay in person in the Allman Center (2nd Floor) on the main campus. Remember that this fee will be waived for current applicants or enrolled students of Forsyth Tech.
Show up for your appointment with your voucher, photo ID, and, if applicable, proof of payment for the proctor fee. The testing center is in the Strickland building on Main Campus, in room 2551.
