What You’ll Learn
The Community Outreach Certificate prepares students for careers connecting organizations with the individuals and communities they serve. This program provides training in developing outreach strategies, collaborating with local agencies, and fostering relationships to promote positive change.
Outcomes
Students gain essential skills in public engagement and resource coordination, equipping them to support diverse populations, including youth, families, and vulnerable individuals. Graduates are prepared for roles in nonprofits, government agencies, and private organizations, where they assist with health and wellness promotion, crisis intervention, resource access, and financial assistance.
Students who have completed courses for the Community Health Worker or Income Maintenance Caseworker may apply those credits toward this certificate. To learn more, consult with a program advisor.
