What You’ll Learn
The Addictions and Recovery curriculum equips students to support individuals in achieving sobriety and healing, fostering meaningful change in their communities. The program combines foundational knowledge in addiction, mental health, and recovery techniques with supervised fieldwork, allowing students to gain practical, real-world experience.
Key Features:
- Includes six (6) clock hours of Professional Ethics Training in SAB courses
- Prepares for a career as a certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor
Outcomes
This diploma is designed for students who have not yet completed a degree in human services. This diploma helps students meet the educational and internship requirements for certification through the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board (NCSAPPB).
