Interventional Cardiac and Vascular Technology – Vascular

As a vascular interventional specialist, you will work with physicians during peripheral vascular and neurovascular imaging using fluoroscopy to assist in procedures such as angioplasty/stenting and catheter- directed treatments like thrombolysis and embolization.

The Vascular Certificate Program provides students a Structured Pathway, approved by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), to sit for the Vascular Interventional (VI) Registry. Applicants must provide proof of either employment in Interventional Radiology/Endovascular Surgery or secure their own clinical rotation.
