Course Description
Electricians are in high demand! In just four years, gain the knowledge and hands-on experience you need to power your future. This program includes classroom instruction and on-the-job training with licensed electrical contractors. Upon completion, students will be prepared to earn their journeyworker credential, opening the door to a wide range of career opportunities in the electrical trade.
Course Details
Preliminary Work/Safety. Residential and Commercial Rough Wiring. Residential and Commercial Finish work. Industrial Lighting and service installation. Troubleshooting. Motor Installation and controls.
Apprentices must be at least 18 years of age.
If the apprentice is not currently employed by an electrical contractor, the apprentice may still take the course, but will be responsible for the fees.
Course Schedule
Each Level is one year long that starts in the fall and ends in the spring. Level 1 and 3 meet in the evenings on Monday and Wednesday. Level 2 and 4 meet in the evenings on Tuesday and Thursday.
