Victoria Ferrell, Program Coordinator for the Cybersecurity/System Security program at Forsyth Tech’s Davis iTec Cybersecurity Center is the recipient of the International Council of E-Commerce Consultants (EC Council) 2025 Academia Instructor Circle of Excellence award. The EC Council is the world’s largest cybersecurity technical certification body and works closely with K-12, community colleges and universities to deliver cutting edge cybersecurity curriculum and industry certifications. This recognition reflects Victoria Ferrell’s outstanding contributions to cybersecurity education and the positive impact that she has made on her students and the academic community. 

With a Master’s degree in Information Technology (IT) and over 20 years of experience in education and IT, Ferrell’s work at Forsyth Tech, focuses on coordinating and instructing hands-on cyber security and systems security programs. As a certified networking and cybersecurity expert, Ferrell ensures that Forsyth Tech’s curriculum meets industry demands and empowers students with practical, workforce-ready skills. She believes in practical, student-centered learning that connects coursework to cybersecurity careers in the real world.
