Editor’s Farewell

  • Editor-in-chief of Technically Speaking, Cyrus Mckee, gives their farewells and reflects on their experience as a member of the Journalism and Media club.

Pulitzer Event

  • This section highlights Jonathan Custodio’s transition into journalism. Custodio visited Forsyth Tech’s Main Campus to present in partnership with the Pulitzer Center. He spoke on his experiences as a journalist, and shared some helpful advice to aspiring journalists.

Holocaust Remembrance Day

  • The International Holocaust Remembrance Day event took place on March 25th, where speakers took the stage at the Rhoades Conference Center to reflect on the Holocaust, and the importance of being educated on what happened during that time. Dr. Alexander “Lex” Silibiger, a Holocaust survivor and professor of music at Duke University, spoke on his personal experience.

Campus Fashion

  • Several students are pictured wearing unique outfits. They speak on what inspires them, where they shop, and share fashion advice to readers.

Spring Fling

  • Several pictures of the Trail 66, Spring Fling event are included within this section. Students are interviewed and share their favorite parts of the event.

Social Media Detox

  • Following up a section that was included in the last publication of Technically Speaking, readers are reminded to try and minimize their screen time, and to think about their relationship with technology – are they dependent on it, or do they balance their relationship with technology well?

EC Council Award

  • This section highlights Victoria Ferrell, Forsyth Tech’s program coordinator for the cybersecurity and system security program, winning the 2025 Academia Instructor Circle of Excellence award from the EC Council.

Student Submissions

  • The student submission section included poetry, a thought piece on the usage of AI, a piece on defining your life in your 20’s, and a piece on a student’s love for arts and crafts.
