We are proud to congratulate Nico Pezet who is graduating from the Audio & Video Production Technology program with High Honors and is the first Forsyth Tech student from this program to continue their educational journey at Wake Forest University. At Wake Forest, Nico will major in Critical and Creative Media in the School of Communications.

Nico has always had a passion for the arts. Beginning in middle school, he developed his musical talents by playing saxophone in various bands and continues to perform today as a member of the Wake Forest marching band. His love for expressing emotion and entertaining through sound naturally expanded into visual storytelling, leading him toward a career in filmmaking.

As I found enjoyment in expressing emotion and entertaining through sound, I also began to learn how to entertain visually.

During his time at Forsyth Tech, Nico learned to write, record, edit and produce content for both radio and television. Nico says the program provided valuable hands-on experience and served as an introduction to the broadcast industry. Through hard work, creativity and dedication, Nico distinguished himself as an outstanding student within the program.

In addition to continuing his studies, Nico will continue to be part of the leadership team for the marching band and participate in the music honors fraternity, Kappa Kappa Psi. He is also interested in exploring the documentary masters program at Wake Forest.

Nico’s determination, creativity and passion for storytelling continue to open exciting new doors, and we are excited to see where his future leads.

Congratulations, Nico!
